المولد النبوي
Mawlid al-Nabi celebrates the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), observed on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar. The celebration of the Prophet's birthday has been a tradition in many Muslim communities for centuries. On this day, Muslims gather to remember the life, teachings, and character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Celebrations vary across cultures but often include reciting poetry in praise of the Prophet, sharing meals, giving charity, and attending religious lectures. In many countries, it is a public holiday. Some Muslims organize processions with lights and decorations. The day serves as an opportunity to renew love and respect for the Prophet and to reflect on his message of compassion, justice, and mercy.
