Hajj Duas — Essential Supplications for Pilgrimage
Key duas and supplications for each stage of Hajj and Umrah
1. Talbiyah — The Call of Hajj
Recited continuously from entering Ihram until stoning on Eid day
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
Labbayk Allahumma labbayk, labbayk la sharika laka labbayk, innal hamda wan ni'mata laka wal mulk, la sharika lak
“Here I am O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise, grace and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner.”
2. Dua When Entering Ihram
Recited when making the intention for Hajj at the Miqat
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ فَيَسِّرْهُ لِي وَتَقَبَّلْهُ مِنِّي
Allahumma inni uridu al-hajja fa yassirhu li wa taqabbalhu minni
“O Allah, I intend to perform Hajj, so make it easy for me and accept it from me.”
3. Dua for Tawaf
Recited during each circuit around the Kaaba, especially between Rukn al-Yamani and the Black Stone
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina adhab an-nar
“Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”

4. Dua of Arafat
The best dua is the dua of Arafat. Recite abundantly on 9 Dhul Hijjah
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir
“There is no god but Allah alone with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is over all things capable.”

5. Dua at Muzdalifah
Recited during the night stay at Muzdalifah
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي جَوَامِعَ الْخَيْرِ
Allahumma inni as'aluka an tarzuqani jawami' al-khayr
“O Allah, I ask You to grant me all that is good.”
6. Dua for Stoning the Jamarat
Said with each pebble thrown at the Jamarat pillars
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Bismillah, Allahu Akbar
“In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest.”
7. Farewell Tawaf Dua
Recited during the final Tawaf before leaving Mecca
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ الْبَيْتَ بَيْتُكَ وَالْحَرَمَ حَرَمُكَ وَالْأَمْنَ أَمْنُكَ وَهَذَا مَقَامُ الْعَائِذِ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ
Allahumma innal bayta baytuka wal harama haramuka wal amna amnuka wa hadha maqamul 'a'idhi bika minan-nar
“O Allah, this House is Your House, this sanctuary is Your sanctuary, this security is Your security, and this is the station of the one who seeks Your protection from the Fire.”
